New Tooth!

Jack got his first tooth on his 7 month birthday! He is so proud of himself and is giggling when we check on his tooth. It is his bottom front left tooth. Yea!

Moogers!

Evan has had a runny nose since Thanksgiving and so he has a lot of practice on trying to clean off the "moogers" from his face and nose. It is so funny to hear him say it.

Halloween 2007

Evan's mommy tried to take pictures this Halloween, but they didn't turn out. If Evan's mommy was more dedicated to blogging, then she would take the hours required to upload the video that kind of turned out, but it is not happening. Sorry!

Traveling to Montana

Evan and his family traveled to Billings, Montana and made a stop at Mesa Falls in Idaho on the way. It is a beautiful waterfall with a 100 year old visitor's center that is a charming log structure with beautiful pillars and gingerbread detailing. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. The autumn leaves were beautiful, too. It is definately a wonderful time to be in Montana.

Daddy time in Montana

I hope this picture convinces everyone that Evan needs his Daddy and vice versa! We are having a great time here in Billings, Montana. Evan's obsession with "Thomas the Tank Engine" has really blossomed and he gets to watch Thomas every day here with cable television. We went to "Toys R Us" and he knew the names of every Thomas train in the store. He knew more than his mommy and she studies the catalogs of Thomas trains! Fun, fun, fun!

Evan's 2nd Birthday!

Evan had his 2nd birthday this past week. He loves Thomas the Tank Engine and received lots of "Thomas" toys. His auntie Lesley made him a train cake and it was wonderful! Some of his cousins were able to come over to Evan's house for a party. We had a great time, even though it was 100 degrees! Evan's brother Jack was wonderful and slept or was content most of the time!

Big brother Evan

Evan's little brother, Jack Donovan Powell, was born Wednesday, May 30 2007 at 5:40pm. He weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and was 18 inches long. He looks similar to Evan, but he has his own little features too. As you can see from the picture, Evan loves his brother and enjoys giving him hugs and kisses.

St. Croix Vacation

Evan's mommy won a trip for the family to go to St. Croix and stay at The Buccaneer Hotel for a week. Evan did a great job riding the airplanes and playing on the beach, as the following pictures show.

St. Croix is a beautiful island and the temperature was 80 degrees all day long. As you can also see, Evan got sleepy after playing so hard on the beach.
